When we say the phrase “security solution,” what comes to mind?

Probably a high definition camera locking in a thief’s face – at night.

Or maybe a card reader that logs a warning: Bob swiped his badge on the back door. Which would be fine. Except that you just fired Bob.

And you’re right, those ARE indeed security solutions!

But it’s easy to skip the very first rule of solution-building:

Part of the solution is defining the problem.

Our Process

We have a few core objectives:

When you call us, email us, or talk with anyone around here, you become a potential customer. Here’s what happens next:

  • You’ll schedule a phone call with one of our Security Coaches. Before diving too deep, we just want to make sure Sanctum is a good fit for you.

  • We’ll ask some basic questions, get a feel for your business, security interest level, etc.

  •
  • From there, you will schedule a site walk through with the Security Coach, who is a really knowledgeable installer with fantastic people skills. The Security Coach will go through all the parts of the security system with you, make sure your questions are answered, get a device count for your facility, and more!

At this time, we will nail down a Scope of Work. This phrase is VERY important!

Scope of Work: The products to be installed, product functionality desired, and level of service to be delivered day of install.

  • Then, one of our Security Engineers will design and construct a Proposal.

  •

Proposal: The customer’s desired Scope of Work – or several requested scope options in comparison – with general pricing.

Note – the Proposal is NOT a quote!

The proposal is meant for you to take home, think over, have some meetings about.

Just note that if you come back 6 months later, prices may have changed!

(Realistically, if you purchase a system within a month of the proposal design, the costs won’t change much).

  • If you give us the go-ahead, we’ll send you a quote!

This quote has the scope from the Proposal with current system and material costs, and we will honor that price until the quote expiration.

(Seriously, we’ve had customers come back a year later and ask us to honor a year-old quote, after industry prices have drastically changed… not how it works.)

We will send you a contract, binding us to deliver the agreed-upon Scope of Work, and then we’re off to the races!

Delivering the Solution

After the Scope of Work, your Security Coach will explain some things we need from you, including:

  • We need someone to open key doors, escort if necessary, roof access if necessary, etc. If we get to site and can’t access a key portion, consequences may include a delayed install and/or up-charge!

Depending on what you desire installed, you might need new high voltage outlets somewhere. We do not install these, but we can help you find someone who will! Work cannot start until power outlets are in.

Even if we have access to a key space, but there are boxes, crates, parts, etc. blocking the way, we still have to postpone. We don’t want to break your stuff!

  • How much time we expect the install to take,

  •
  • How the install may affect normal functioning (normally not at all!)

  •
  • How long your new system training will take

When done, you’ll have a brand new security system, all your own, and the knowledge you need to run it!
